ครั้งหนึ่ง พระพุทธเจ้าประทับ ณ เวฬุวัน เมืองราชคฤห์ ทรงรับคำทูลเชิญเสด็จเมืองไพศาลีของพวกกษัตริย์ลิจฉวี เสด็จประทับนั่งบนพุทูอาสน์ที่ทำด้วยแก้วบนเรือพระที่นั่ง ที่พระเจ้าพิมพิสารได้จัดถวายเสด็จเมืองไพศาลีโดยชลมารคในแม่น้ำคงคง เพื่อที่จะขจัดภัยต่าง ๆ ที่เกิดขึ้นในเมือง

While the Lord Buddha was staying a Veluvan, Rajagaha city, he went to King Litchavi's Vaisali by invitation. He sat on the glass platform seat in a boat arranged by King Bimbisara to travel to the city by Ganga River. The purpose was to have the Great Buddha eliminate crises in the city.
