Performing a Yamaka Patihariya Posture (The Twin Miracles)

พระพุทธเจ้าประทับ ณ โคนต้นคัณฑามพฤกษ์ (ต้นมะม่วง) ทรงแสดงยมกปาฎิหารย์เพื่อข่มพวกเดียรถีย์โดยเนรมิตที่จงกรมแก้วในอากาศแล้วเสด็จขึ้นสู่ที่จงกรมนั้นเสดงยมกปาฎิหารย์ สลับการแสดงพระธรรมเทศนา มีพุทธบริษัทจำนวนมากได้บรรลุธรรม เพราะความเลื่อมใสที่ได้เห็นยมกปาฎิหารย์ และได้ฟังธรรมกถาของพระพุทธเจ้าพร้อม ๆ กัน

The Buddha was sitting under the mango tree and demonstrated his magical power to non-believers. He displayed a celestial aura, caused earthquakes and storms (Double Apparition), alternately with preaching his sermon which made a lot of people attain his dhamma.
