Bhattakicca (Taking a Meal Posture)

หลังจากที่พระพุทธเจ้าทรงแสดงธรรมโปรดยสกุลบุตรและบิดาแล้ว ทรงรับนิมนต์ไปเสวยภัตตาหารที่บ้านบิดาพระยสะ นับเป็นครั้งแรกที่ได้เสด็จไปเสวยภัตตาหารในบ้าน จากนั้นทรงแสดงอนุปุพพิกถาโปรดมารดาและภรรยาเก่าของพระยสะ ให้ได้ดวงตาเห็นธรรมเป็นอุบาสิกาคู่แรกในพระพุทธศาสนา อนึ่ง ในขณะเสวยนั้นเรียบร้อยยิ่งนัก เสวยในบาตรและมีวัตรในบาตร เช่น ไม่วางบาตรใกล้หรือไกลเกินไป

After teaching dhamma to Yasakulbutra and his father, the Lord Buddha went to have food at the house of Phra Yasa's father. This was the first time the Buddha ever having food inside a house. Then, he taught Anupubbikatha to Phra Yasa's mother and ex-wife who later the First two female disciples. The Buddha neatly had food in alms bowl with a good manner. He did not place alms bowl too close or too far with all time realization of alms bowl.
